Why is it that a good chunk of us have favored products that mock the standards of quality, ethics, and beauty? Why is it that a tee manufactured by modern-day slaves out of toxic materials wins the wallets of so many, while a tee made from sustainable materials by respected workers falls short in mass appeal? When did we become so cheap as to rather pollute the planet, exploit others, abuse animals, and poison ourselves than to pay a buck more for things that are supposed to enhance our lives? ...
